Has anyone noticed that netfix really works poorly on the OS X Lion? It normally takes more than 100% CPU and the laptop becomes really hot after playing just 10 minutes.
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7), core i5, 4G memory
Have you tried using other browsers, such as Chrome or Firefox?
Have you updated to the latest Silverlight plug in?
Noticed the same problem with Netflix and Lion. Though the problem seems to be more with Safari since I have the latest plugin of Silverlight. Chrome did margnially better than Safari for Netflix playback, and Firefox used a quarter less processor power than either of the other two browsers.

Netflix via Firefox on OS 10.7.4 on an MBP A1226 (2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo, with 4 GB Ram), ***** now. The videos play, but are glitchy in fullscreen mode. I've also have problems playing youtube and local video files. (bad sync, skipped frames, slow scanning). Maybe the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 128 MB can't handle the new drivers? Is there a way to roll back my video drivers without going back to Snow Leopard???
Lion works fine for me.. but I also use Chrome occasionally.
