iTunes 10.4 prevent m3u import

Hi,

since the new version of iTunes 10.4 it is importing all my .m3u files as playlists. How can I prevent that from happening? All these years I was actually glad that iTunes ignored those lists.

Is there a setting that can be used? Or do I have to go through all my music and delete the .m3u files instead?

To refresh my library I alwas reimport all music over what is there so there are a lot of .m3u files imported now...

Kind regards

Spanky

I am having a similar issue since installing OSX Lion with iTunes 10.4. I have m3u playlists within folders that contain music, and iTunes insists on importing both the songs and playlists. It now takes extremely long to add multiple folders since it begins to play the playlist after importing. Is there an option to ignore m3u playlists with this new import behavior?
