Pages '09 Redefine Style Not Effecting Other Text

Hello- I'll do my best to describe the problem...

If I select some text, I can see it's Paragraph Style Body A in the style drawer. I'd like to change all text that uses Style Body A one size larger (12-13). So, I select some text, make the changes, click on the triangle in the style, and choose Define Style From Selection. But none of the other text within the document that uses Style Body A changes.

What am I doing wrong?

Although that should work, I find that often it doesn't. For me, the easiest way is to click & hold on the triangle next to the style & choose "select all uses of (style name)" then click or double-click the style name to apply it.

Make sure you really use the style on the paragraph you think you do or reapply the style.

Hello- Thanks for all the info. I made sure I selected the paragraph style and indeed I am. Still doesn't work so I took did go ahead and select the text with the style and made the change.
