Automator script to replace text

I have been trying to build an Automator App to simply replace tabs with carriage returns in a text document, but I can't find a way to do what seems something so simple.

I've also had a go at doing the same thing in Applescript, but with no success there, either.

The text is being exported from Filemaker Pro as .txt file.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
