When I try to connect my new iPad to iTunes, I get the message, "This iPad cannot be used because Apple Mobile Device service is not started." This is a WiFi only iPad. What do I do?
What kind of computer? Sounds like i tunes is missing a file. Even if you have the most current version of i tunes, i would bring down a new one and reinstall.
