Worth installing lion on 2006 macbook pro? What gestures would work on my non-multitouch trackpad?

I have a late 2006 macbook pro with a 2.16 Ghz core 2 duo processor and 3 gb of ram. I'm wondering if it would be worth buying lion.

Would my machine run lion fast and efficiently?

Would I be able to navigate to mission control and between fullscreen apps with gestures even though I don't have a multitouch trackpad? My trackpad can do two finger scroll but I dont think that it can recognize any other gestures. Am I correct about this?

Even if I can't use gestures to navigate, will lions other features make the purchase worth it?
