Cannot move junk email to Bulk Mail folder in Yahoo, greyed out

Go to your yahoo account in IOS and create a new mailbox by hitting edit. Name it anything you like but point the mailbox location to the Bulk Mail folder under your yahoo account. IOS and Yahoo will create a subfolder under Bulk Mail which will no longer be greyed out. You can then send any junk email to the subfolder you created which should also be the same as the Bulk mail folder.

to be clear....make sure you go to your actual email account (your maillbox) in iOS, NOT your settings>mail>new account. Then you should be able to do exaclty what 'snapcoyote' said. worked for me.

I am having the same problem, but I'm not very clear on how to follow the steps.

• went to my yahoo account in IOS;
• hit edit, hit "new mailbox" at the bottom right corner of the screen;
• entered a name;
• below that, it has "Mailbox Location", I opened it;
• it list all my personal folders, I am stuck here.

How do I "point the mailbox location to the Bulk Mail folder", as instructed? Am I missing a step?

I'm having the same trouble as explorer0863 - how do you "point the mailbox location to the Bulk Mail folder"? The is no folder named Bulk Mail once I hit Mailbox Location. Please be very specific. Thank you, this is driving me nuts!

Ahh typical changes in logistics that comes with iOS upgrades... Aren't they fun?? Ok so I stumbled on the solution just by messing with mail, and it is veeeery simple. Go in your inbox in iOS yahoo mail> swipe left to show 3 options> click on "more..."> from the list, click "mark"> another list of 3 options pops up. They are "flag", "mark as read" and "move to junk". Now you can click "move to junk" and the email WILL GO TO JUNK! Horrayyyy
