Shared pc printer showing on hold (authentication required)

Good day everyone

I am struggling to print from my imac to a windows 7 pc, this is since i got Lion installed.

I am really struggling, it won't take any username/password combination even one used on the windows pc.

Same problem here ever since upgrading to Lion I can't print to windows printers any more (the printers print through an smb print server).

This is the configuration that was used (and which worked fine) in Snow Leopard:

smb://<domain name>/<user name>:<password>@<print server>/<printer name>
