10.7 Workgroup Manager and Active Directory

Has anybody else using Apple Schema Extensions in Active Directory noticed an error when changing the MCX settings of an object via Workgroup Manager (10.7 Admin Tools) that reads:

-----------------

Record type not mapped.

The record with type "Config" is not mapped. You should report this error to the administrator of your directory server.

-----------------

I've been doing this for several years with previous version of OS X without ever having a problem. Has anyone else encountered this and know of a potential workaround or fix? Thanks!

Same for me after I updated from SL Server to Lion Server. Although the settings are written to the directory (AD), they are not displayed and there is this error message (I checked the AD apple-mcxsettings attributes).

Do we need to modify/update some schema changes with Lion to be applied to the AD?

That's the question, it looks to me like it might be trying to store the configurations in a different attribute or something.

For what it's worth I created a 10.7 OD Master and compared the schema with my current AD schema (based on 10.6). I saw no differences in the two schemas.

No update, but I filed another bug report. I noticed that my Mac OS X Lion Server is the only Lion machine correctly applying computer / computer group level MCX.

I notice people were getting this issue in August, it's now October and I'm getting the same error message.

Did anyone find a fix?

How were you able to get that working? I have tried to add other Lion clients to my Lion Server WGM and WGM won't find any Lion clients but the server itself. The Lion clients are bound to AD already.
