black macbook hard drive upgrade

Im looking to upgrade my hard drive but I have a few questions.

1) I was told that the black macbook cannot handle the solid state drives but when I went online I saw that someone posted that you can upgrade to a solid state drive in a black macbook.... so can I use an SSD?

assuming I cant use an SSD...

2)I was comparing the Western Digital Scorpio Black vs. the Momentus^® XT Solid State Hybrid Hard Drive (if SSD hybrids work) vs. the Momentus® 2.5–Inch Laptop Hard Drive Internal Kit – 7200 RPM

So which should I get?

I am still open to other suggestions so if anyone has a suggestion just let me know!

I run a lot of intensive programs like Pro Tools, Photoshop, and Illustrator so I need a fast drive but I do not want to sacrifice too much space.
