how do you reinstall facetime

I've somehow lost the FaceTime App on my iPad - is there a way to reinstall it without having to restore my iPad?

You can't reinstall or remove the preinstalled apps.

If you use restrictions - Settings>General>Restrictions - and you have restrictions turned on - and in the next window if you have it turned on for apps - turn it off. Restrictions will remove the icon.

Try swiping from screen to screen to see if you accidentally put it on another screen when you synced last.

You can also connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes, click on your device name, click on the apps tab, and you can see all of the screens that are on your iPad. You can drag it from one screen to another in iTunes when you find it.

From your home screen, swipe to the right and the iPad search feature appears, Type Your app name into the search field and launch it from there and when you quit, the app may be visible again.

You can also restart your iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and slide to shut down. To power up, hold down on the sleep button again until the Apple logo appears. Look for it after you restart.

Finally you can try a reset by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider. Look again after the iPad restarts.
