Delete iPod Photo Cache?

I have my ipod set to copy photos from selected folders only. Can I safely delete the iPod Photo Cache folder on my pc as it is taking up too much room? Or will that corrupt/remove the photo's on my ipod?

You can delete these files, but iTunes will simply regenerate them the next time you sync.
