Does anyone experiencing a missing close button on safari's tab?

I just updated latest safari and installed OSX Lion. Lion seems running faster in my macbook pro 13 April 2010 but the battery life is worst, about 3 hrs. Before this my mac under Snow Leopard manage to run about 7 hours. What is happening??? Anyone can give me suggestion.

I already done the shift + option + control + on/off button to reset the battery's information. I done it correctly by pluging mac with magsafe before resetting process.

I personally think that Lion needs some update to fix the battery performace. And Safari either, please solve the missing close button on safari's tab. It really annoying to click the other tab and click again the tab (missing button) to make the button appear.
