Syncing notes between iPad and a MacBook with Lion OSX

I cannot sync notes manually between iPad and MacBook - I could do that with Snow Leopard by creating a subfolder in Notes and keeping my Notes in that subfolder. This doesn't work with Lion OSx - any ideas out there

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7)

Did you mark notes to sync in iTunes preferences? Or do you use MobileMe?

I would prefer MobileMe but have not been able to use that to sync notes. So - I use itunes and check "Sync notes" under Other in the Info tab

I have discovered the same problem. Syncing doesn't work with subfolders.
