“” does not appear to be a valid email address. Verify the address and try again.

I had the same problem with multiple adressess:

I used the " ; " as a seperator.

The message was sent with no trouble at all as soon as I used the " , " (comma) instead.

I have exactly the same problem. Have tried valid email addresses that I use all the time but I just get this message. I cannot use Mail to send emails. Now using a Windows computer to do my basic stuff. This is terrible!!

I should add that this is only happening when I am using a print option to "Mail pdf"

I get this quite a bit, too. I didn't notice that it's with an attachment, but it easily could be, I do that all the time. Hpowever I wanted to point out that I'm still able to send the message. I select "send anyway" and it's all good.

As mentioned by Aaron, if you hit "send anyway" the message still goes out, but it leaves you with a doubt.

Not a good feeling when you're sending an important email.

I was begining to think it was only me with this problem, I have also narrowed it down to a pdf attachment, I have tryed this on 2 differant Mac's and both do it. Send anyways does seem to work, but I would love to find a fix, however I'm thinking we will have to wait for 10.7.1

I just tried ignoring the message and hit "Send Anyway" and the email was sent. No problems. Weird.

I have the same problem since upgrading to Lion. The error message is:

But when i click on send anyway, the message is sent.

Same problem it still sends it when I click send anyway but very annoying. Plus when I try to send an attachemnt to mutiple emails by copying and pasting emails it does not alawys send.

I'm having the same issue, no attachments, and the email is in my address book - it is a gmail address. Not sure why I would be getting such an error, especially when I have emails in my inbox from said address (although they were received before I switched to Mail).

Hugo, you are having a differant problem then I did, my problem has since been fixed with a system update.

Unfortunately my software is fully up-to-date.

I find a space has crept in before or after the email address in my contact or pasted address, removing this sorts it.
