Battery drains faster since 4.3.5 iOS update
I'm noticing that my iPhone 4 battery is draining faster since last update. Is it just me? Is someone experiencing this? Is my iPhone battery dying?

I've updated two days ago, and haven't noticed perceptible battery drain. It could be a battery issue.
I updated 2 days ago and my 4 is draining faster too. Charged over night to 100%, turned of location services, shut down all apps and about 2 hours later, I was down to 55%. Since the update, I am also having problems with the home button (have to press it multiple times to work) and everything in general is running slow.
I'm also having battery issues since updating a couple days ago
'Upgraded' last night and woke to find my phone dead. 0% battery and shutdown.
Gave it a full charge with the AC adapter this morning. Hardly used it today.
52%
Time since last charge: 4 hrs, 27 mins
Praying this gets sorted out asap. I usually get a couple of days general use out of my iPhone 4.
Me too -- major battery problems after the update. I've also noticed that "Usage" and "Standby" time are almost the same. I think this indicates that there is something running in the background, per:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1805?viewlocale=en_US
I haven't installed any new apps.
Can you guys check to see if you are seeing the same behavior with the usage statistics?

The 2 times are exactly the same for me. 6'26" @ 27%.
If the 2 times are the same, that means the phone is always doing something.
I also noticed my celluar data use was very high when I haven't been using the phone.
I just went into settings and disabled: location services, push notifications, and set "Fetch New Data" to off, set polling to manual. It appears to have fixed the problem -- "Usage" is now less than standby, and the phone is running cooler.
I'll let it go for a while to verify, and then start turning the services back on to see what the culprit is.
I'm gonna bet its my MobileMe syncing.
I've done a full Reload and restore of data and I'm down to 75% after 2 hours. No phone activity, just idle. This has only just started occurring for me after the 4.3.5 install last night.
The phone is useless to me if this keeps up.
Try resetting your network settings. Setting>general>reset>reset network settings
Thanks for your replies :) Well, I think there might have been some sort of service running which was consuming power. I let the iPhone drain battery until it "dropped dead" and then I put it reacharging until battery full. Now it seems like it's working on a more normal fashion. Maybe restarting the phone solves the issue but it can happen again. I'll let you guys know if it gets worse again.
Another night to wake and find my phone completely drained.
I have 2 mail accounts, the Exchange server is only managing my Contacts at this time (long story). I've fiddled with it to see if that settles down. If that is part of the problem, my concern still exists as to why it's such a major problem with this version of the iOS, when all previous weren't.

All previous weren't for you, perhaps, but were for others. There is no problem with 4.3.5. There is a problem with your phone. Delete your Exchange accounts, reboot the phone and add them back.

Turns out it was my Exchange connection (which is only used for Contacts currently). I'm still scratching my head as to why the battery drain only surfaced after upgrading to 4.3.5, but regardless I've deleted the profile. Being the weekend it isn't a good time to troubleshoot, I'll suss it out in the morning.
Basically after another full charge, it took 45 minutes to drain 10%. I deleted the profile and the battery drained a further 15% over the next 7 hours (including general phone/internet use). Problem solved .... sort of.
I pretty much only use my iPhone for Hipstatmatic (and once in a while as an actual phone - I've not even used up by £10 PAY-AS-GO from last September yet)
Since doing the update I noticed the battery was draining faster.
This morning I woke up to it dead.
Its never done that before.
I've noticed this since the iOS 4.3.5 update as well. Never used to have issues with my battery and now by around 3 or 4pm my battery is nearly empty.
I hope this gets resolved soon.
