Safari keeps reloading every tab
Every time I scroll through my tabs, Safari reloads the page (similar to how pages autoreload in iPhone and iPad). Anyone have a fix to stop Safari from reloading tabs all the time?

I am not sure how long you will have to wait for Apple to fix Safari.
There is no need to use any browser for email when you have access to your computer.
Most email servers are IMAP with very efficient POP and web interface facilities. Many email providers allow you to use all three although I don't advise switching between POP and IMAP unless you know what you are doing.
Whilst I normally use my provider's POP interface I have, on one or two occasions, used the web interface when on holiday.
Web interfaces are normally IMAP so POP users should remember not to put anything into web/IMAP folders because POP only downloads from the IMAP Inbox.
It's a long time since the OP was posted. I am using Safari 5.7.1 on Lion. Same issue. Glad to see I am not the only one with this problem, in that I thought it was a problem with my system. Not so glad that Apple has failed so miserably to resolve this. These random page reloads are ridiculous.
And in Safari 6 instead the reload I have a total crash/quit of Safari with the same WebProcess errors/crashes logs. So It's worse than before!
I have this problem since rhe release 5.1 of Safari, I've changed two iMacs, reinstalled OS X with complete reset and manually reimported the iphoto/iTunes library (no time machine or other things that could copy corrupted files) but the troble is still here! I have also the laptop (MacBoook) which I rarely use it but to be honest on it I have not this problem! Maybe it's a driver error? Rendering error with some GPU?

Steve would have had this issue addressed by now.
Huh? Are you serious? What has that got to do with it?
In fact, this problem has been around since long before Steve Jobs passed away. Even this discussion thread was started one year ago. What's more, in my experience Apple has a significant and long history of NOT listening to its users when it believes it knows better or just can't be bothered, and instead dictating (with what I consdier to be an air of arrogance) what it thinks is best for the end user. As an Apple eater, I choose to put up with that kind of attitude only because over all they do manage to produce a product I am more happy with than what the major competition comes up with (Microsoft, for instance... whose Internet Explorer I have hardly used since the day Firefox was first released on Windows computers).
May I humbly suggest we refrain from irrellevant statements about Jobs now that he has passed on. I don't think it adds anything of use to the discussion.

As of Safari 6, tabs are still clunky, re-rendering every time you go back. Very annoying.
That's not good news. I haven't tried Safari 6, but was hoping it would be free of these significant bugs. Thanks for letting me know. Bummer. Hopefully a less buggy 6.x is on the way... before I upgrade to the Mountain cat.
All the best...

no its not ok
SAFARI 6.0.2 looses ability to
1) RELOAD TABS or
2) OPEN NEW TABS or
3) GO BACK/FORWARD
at least ONCE A DAY
(WHEN THIS BUG OCCURS - AND I CAN REMEMBER HAVING THIS EVER SINCE AFTER 5.0.3 - THE ONLY THING SAFARI IS ABLE TO DO IS TO POPUP
A TAB FORCE RELOAD SUGGESTION, WHICH IF ACCEPTED KILLS CONTEXT ON ALL TABS )
THE STRANGE FACT IS THAT
WHEN THIS FORCE RLOAD TABS THING happens, one can continue to surf the web following links inside open tabs, so the rendering engine is potentially OK
WHEN THIS FORCE RELOAD TABS THING happens EVEN TRYING TO OPEN A JPEG ON THE LOCAL FILESYSTEM POPS UP
A TAB FORCE RELOAD SUGGESTION
I TOLD APPLE ABOUT THIS BUG A HUNDRED TIMES AND IT AMAZES ME
HOW THIS ISSUE IS STILL THERE
TO ME THEY HAVE TO REWRITE THE ALL THING FROM THE GROUND UP
OR MAYBE JUST DELETE THAT PIECE OF CODE THAT POPS UP THIS BLOCKING
ALERT
IN THE MEANTIME I WILL SWITCH TO GOOGLE CHROME
CANT STAND THIS SAFARI BEHAVIOUR NO MORE
Whether you run iOS, MacOS or Windows; this is a very well known unaddressed issue. There is no fix, other than finding an alternative web-browser. There is no perfect browser, they all have their imperfections, but overall I would say Chrome is the most user-friendly. For downloading HD video off of youtube I switch to Firefox. I rarely even use Safari. I do like the design but the tabs issue is unacceptable.
This trick worked for me to clear all tabs before launching Safari...
Quit Safari. Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. That will stop the page from reloading automatically.
Same problem. Just started a day or two ago. Can't work out why its doing this...
not working for me either.
This has been happening to me all week as well. It is so annoyng becuase you lose anythign you are working on in that tab.
Help Please!
Me, too... ever since my most recent software update. Any assistance, Apple? If it goes on much longer I will quit using Safari... and I hear once you go Chrome you never go back.
Just switched to Chrome today because I couldn't take it anymore.
It even started freezing in general as of yesterday.
Hoping for a fix soon as I like my top pages in Safari.

I just wrote a blog post that explains how to stop this annoying behavior in Safari 5.

Hope this helps anyone who's been frustrated by this problem.
I have tried this and found the app crashes completely when you do this..... waste of time IMO
