How to find what's breaking my powermgmt plist

My display won't sleep.

If I delete powermgmt.plist, then log off and back on again - it sleeps.

How do I find what is either:

a) messing up my plist file so that the above procedure needs to be done to fix it

OR

b) staying 'active' somehow and preventing the display from sleeping.

Can I use activity monitor to help me? If so, what am I looking for?

I like to have sleep display set for 1min, then not worry about a screensaver.

Thanks,

Interesting tip, thanks.

I got 6 "USB7" and a "RTC"

Can't immediately see how they prevent display sleep, though need to look more into RTC. (Guess the USB7 is docking the iPhone)

"

RTC: Real Time Clock Alarm, is generally from wake-on-demand services like when youschedule sleep and wake on a Mac via the Energy Saver control panel. It can also be from launchd setting, user applications, backups, and other scheduled events."
