Another Lion Problem
I just upgraded from OS 5, and to my horror MultiFinder is no longer supported.
I am not sure I can multi-task in the manner I am accustomed.
Don't make me go to Windows!
This is unacceptable. C'mon Apple!

You're kidding, right? When was the last time that was updated?
Hey! If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Now I find that I can't modify the Apple menu.
And where did all my Desk Accessories go?
Steve Jobs - I am mad, do you hear me!!!
Has anybody figured out how to get Hypercard to work in Lion????
I need this for my job!
Nowhere on the Apple website does it say Hypercard is not supported - c'mon Apple!!
And the F-Key installer, where did that go?
Hypercard is no longer supported. U do have to stick with an older OS if you need it.
đ
Never mind that, how am I supposed to access my accounts data I have archived on 8 boxes of 400K floppy disks? Apple call this progress? I am immediately cancelling my order for the SE/30!
What is OS 5??? Multitasking can't be a problem with newer OSs Can't be any easier.
Tim:
I noticed that everybody here in Apple Support Discussions has a problem.
I've been using Macs since 1872 and I've never seen anything like it.
C'mon Apple!
And what about Conflict Catcher? This is going to be the most unstable System ever!

Hypercard has some grand childs. A little girl, mac only, called Supercard. And a little boy, Metacard. Metacard's daugther was Revolution and after she get married, her name is now LiveCode. Both are new versions of Hypercard and both can import your old stacks. LiveCode becomes open source. That are good news, because until now it is quiet expensive. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1755283828/open-source-edition-of-livecode A cousin of them is HyperNext. It is like Hypercard for Mac and Win, but as I know, it is not possible to import Hypercard stacks. Hypernext is freeware and has a little brother for Android.
Following a messagewith this information, you can emulate a PPC Macintosh with Classic modus on OS X 10.4 an still use Hypercard.
On the first link is a free stack that helps to export content from Hypercard stacks before upgrading to Intel Macintosh and/or OS X >10.4.
Can I use it like a Desk Accessory?
We need that. Are you listening Apple?
