i couldn't remember my administrator password, so i changed it

- now my keychain password doesn't match and i'm unable to change that. HELP! i don't need all this password protection just to log on to my home computer!!!

i was needing to update adobe reader and it required my administrator password (if i'm remembering that right). so, after getting advice on re-installing my OS whatever CD, i changed the password and it encouraged me to also change my keychain password since it would have been the same.

- changed the first password

- tried changing the keychain password..... didn't work!

it wanted the original password in order for me to change/update this password.

OBVIOUSLY i can't supply it with that information since that's the reason i was changing it in the first place.

SO - now the issues are....

when i log on it wants me to enter a password every time.

- i don't want to do that; it's a home computer with only my family using it.

and randomly, since i don't know what the keychain whatever is for in the first place, it'll ask me to enter THAT password, which i don't know!

if this makes sense to anyone - please help!!!

thank you!!
