I download music from a hard drive to Itunes
I downloaded music from a harddrive and it converted from other formats to Itunes, but now they won't play when I try to pick a specific genre or song by title or artists

Music is not downloaded from a hard drive, it is downloaded to a hard drive.
iTunes is not a format, it is a media management application. As such, music cannot be converted to iTunes.
So now to the problem, what happens when you try to play these songs?
