Moving iTunes shared movies

Hello:

I have a large number of home movies that I have shared to iTunes via iMovie. These are in users\xxx\Movies\iMovie Sharing\iTunes. I'd like to move these to an external disk without compromising anything (iMovie links and/or ATV etc...). I stream movies to an ATV as only about half of them fit on the ATV HD. Anyone have a pointer to how to go about this?
