Itunes DJ can't move songs

Itunes: 10.4 (80)

I can't move any tunes up or down in the Itunes DJ mix. Is this yet another bug? I tried selecting all and deleting, but no effect.

iMac 24, Mac OS X (10.6.8), 4 GB

I like others use a Wacom Tablet (Intuos 4 in my case).

I did find a post with a workaround. If you hold down both the right and left mouse buttons, you can drag and drop.

It may be a Wacom bug, or an Itunes issue. Let's see who steps up with a solution.

Hey there! I've just upgraded to Lion and can't move any tracks in iTunes (10.4) DJ.

I hope this is a bug as it reallly downgrades the experience. Not sure what the Warcom reference (above) is about)...

Be good if this can get fixed / explained soonish.

As of today can't move titles in iTunes neither with Wacom tablet, nor with the mouse. That's a showstopper. Still OSX10.6.8, iTunes 10.4. Also I noticed that the classic visualizer failed to work.

Doesn't work for me. I wonder, if it is a hardware problem with the tablet or the pen.

You mention the pen. Aren't you using the Wacom mouse? You need to hold down the right and left mouse buttons at the same time to move the tune. If that doesn't work, then there may yet be another issue going on.

No, I have the Intuos One. Always worked like a charme. Never felt, I needed another one. Given my observations I think now it's a bug. And since the Wacom drivers don't change much it is quite likely an iTunes bug, incompabitibility coming with the last update or something..

Ok, it's official: I downgraded to iTunes10.3.1 and the Wacom tablet works! It's an iTunes 10.4-bug!

FWIW - I found I was unable to move/rearrange songs within a playlist because the list of songs was sorted in descending order. When I change to ascending, I could move songs around again.

When you have the playlist displayed in iTunes, the column header above the track numbers has an arrow (chevron). Click on it and it toggles the order of the songs. This is what enabled me to move songs to different places.
