Hello-

My old MacBook Pro recently crashed. I know have a new one, and have re-downloaded many of the songs and apps from iTunes that I lost.

However, my entire photo album was not backed up. I do happen to have it on my iPad - so I was wondering it there is a safe way to transfrer photos from my iPad to my MacBook Pro. I understand that I may not get in return the quality of photos I once had, but it is better than nothing.

I was also wondering if there was a way to transfrer music from my iPad (or even iPhone) back to my laptop.

Thank you so much for your help:)

Photos that were synced to the iPad from a computer can be copied back to a computer via third-party apps such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them via your wifi network. And yes, they may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer due to iTunes 'optimising' them when it synced them to the iPad.

In terms of music there may be PC/Mac programs - try a search on the internet.

And in the future you may want to make and maintain backups of your content.
