shuffle not recognized

my computer crashed last week and yesterday i was able to restore my songs back to itunes library. Today when i put in my ipod it says another user is logged in so it cannot communicate with my ipod, Now its not even recognizing it when i put it in!!! can someone help me please, the battery has a green light so its charged

Hi,

Try to Restore this iPod using the latest iPod updater. If this is not possible then install the software that came along the iPod shuffle in a different computer and then try to Restore the iPod shuffle with the iPod updater.

If are not able to restore this iPod shuffle in a different computer then the iPod shuffle should be sent for service.
