Aperture 3, photo quality on Apple TV (1 gen.)

Aperture 3 / Iphoto and Apple TV photo quality issue

before: Iphoto library sync with Apple TV. Very high Apple TV disk space usage and very good photo quality on my HD TV.

Now: moved from Iphoto to Aperture 3 and sync the new aperture library to Apple TV. Very Low Apple TV disk space usage and very poor photo quality on my HD TV....

any solution ? should I go back to Iphoto? Or some better setting in Aperture ?

thanks

Aperture creates "Previews" which are used for slideshows and exports.

To adjust the quality of the Preview files:

- Go into Aperture's Preferences

- Find the preview tab

- Adjust "Photo Preview" from Half Size to a size equal to your screen's resolution (e.g. Screen size is 1080x768, 1080x1080 is the appropriate setting)

- Adjust "Photo Preview Quality" to 9 or 10

This improved the quality of the photos I was syncing to my iPhone as well as viewing photos on my LCD via Apple TV.
