All Flip cameras except the Mino and Ultra record video as MP4/H.264.  Use MPEG Streamclip to convert the video to Quicktime/Apple Intermediate Codec.

The Flip Mino and Ultra record video as standard def MPEG4/AVI.  You should be able to use MPEG Streamclip to convert these videos also.  If that doesn't work, then you should use  Flip4Mac WMV Player Pro + QuickTime Pro.  Since these are standard def 4:3 aspect ratio videos, convert them to QuickTime but you could select either Apple DV/DVCPro NTSC or Apple Intermediate Codec compression as you prefer.

The GoPro Hero cameras record to MP4/H.264.  Use MPEG Streamclip to convert the video to Quicktime/Apple Intermediate Codec.

The GoProSD Hero Wide cameras record to AVI-MJPEG.  Use MPEG Streamclip.

You could try Any Video Converter for Mac, it supports multiple video formats conversion, and is compatible with the latest Mac version.
