Aug 1, 2011 7:51 AM in response to jacqueline33by MartinR,All Flip cameras except the Mino and Ultra record video as MP4/H.264. Use MPEG Streamclip to convert the video to Quicktime/Apple Intermediate Codec.
The Flip Mino and Ultra record video as standard def MPEG4/AVI. You should be able to use MPEG Streamclip to convert these videos also. If that doesn't work, then you should use Flip4Mac WMV Player Pro + QuickTime Pro. Since these are standard def 4:3 aspect ratio videos, convert them to QuickTime but you could select either Apple DV/DVCPro NTSC or Apple Intermediate Codec compression as you prefer.
The GoPro Hero cameras record to MP4/H.264. Use MPEG Streamclip to convert the video to Quicktime/Apple Intermediate Codec.
The GoProSD Hero Wide cameras record to AVI-MJPEG. Use MPEG Streamclip.
