Sep 23, 2011 8:45 AM in response to anthony285by YoRafael,If we have more confirmations about trackpad creating a wake problem it could be a good stating point for apple to fix it. I hope Apple is checking these comments.

Sep 30, 2011 1:43 PM in response to martin_wby jmclean907,I have brand new 27 in imac and also 4 yr old macbook. freezing on both machines in both chrome and firefox after computers on for awhile. This is definitely related to Lion as they both were solid and very stable before i upgraded.
Wish I had never upgraded. So far Lion is a BIG disappointment. This is NOT related to trackpad as I only have trackpad on one machine and both are regularly freezing.
Come on Apple get this fixed!

Oct 1, 2011 6:28 AM in response to martin_wby alexbolduc,I think the trackpad he talk was the built in in is macbook so can't be disabled... For me trackpad on and no problem! Only when i let my time machine on i have the freeze so i turn it off and all go well since. Only need to make backup manually. The freeze seems to be with many issues we can't pin point THE issue.

Oct 1, 2011 7:23 AM in response to martin_wby Rino,Add me to the list. My MacBook Pro freezes several times a week on wake up from sleep. Nearly every time Time Machine and Sync are running and WiFi does not connect. Sometimes WiFi cycles looking for network and sometimes it doesn't. Safari and Mail are usually open. iTunes is open sometimes. Other than that, I have DropBox, GrowHelper, and Base Station Agent running as login items. I'll try disabling Time Machine for a while to see if it helps.
I didn't have this problem before Lion.

Oct 10, 2011 9:11 PM in response to martin_wby mitschwei,I have had the same problem. Ever since I downloaded and installed Lion on my MacBook Pro.
Mine has been slightly different from everyone but still does the same thing. Everytime I wake my computer up from sleep it doesnt seem to lock up right away... in fact it takes about 30 seconds to "lock-up". But it only locks up completely if I try connecting to my home server. I can fix this by force quitting finder. It takes about 5 min for my computer to recover.
If I want to try and do somthing after I wake it up from sleep everything stalls and is really really slow for about 5min.
I have been trying to just wait it out and hope Apple would just magically fix this but... this is getting really annoying.
Also my MacBook Air does the same exact thing. However, it seems to recover faster from this. It takes about 2-3min to get back to its full working capacity.

Oct 11, 2011 7:31 AM in response to Rinoby Rino,Update on my earlier post. I've had Time Machine turned off for about 10 days. The problem seems to have gone away. My MacBook Pro hasn't frozen in that time, and I only had a single instance where it didn't connect to the network after waking from sleep. I'll turn Time Machine back on and see what happens.

Oct 12, 2011 2:48 AM in response to martin_wby thermos742002,I have a Mac Mini (early 2009) since upgrading to Lion, I have experienced the with the same issue (Magic Trackpad does not work intermittently after wake-up) . Strangely, the keyboard seems to function for the most part.
I am hoping this will be resolved soon, as the Mac Mini was rock solid prior to the upgrade.
