Hey all, I'm currently trying to connect my Mini to my Ubuntu computer (actually physically located right next to each other but going through the home LAN with also a couple XP machines on it). I thought I enabled file sharing on Ubuntu but every time I try to connect to it Finder works forever and then when I hit force quit it shows it's not responding.

So my question to all of you networking wizards is how the heck can I get this thing to work?? Any suggestions would be great, and thanks for the time!

I am trying to figure this out myself now.

A solution may be to upgrade the Samba included in Ubuntu server 5.10.

Anyways it seems you cannot connect with smb://server, but it works like a charm with smb://server/share
