Lion: Mail, Notes, Fonts and Sizes...

Hello,

While I really find Lion Mail to be really the best of all mail for OSX, I have just a few issues I would like some help with:

1) I like the Notes part but I'd like to set a new default font size and style. I would like anything larger for my bad eyes and use Papyrus as the style (just my fav).

2) Same with Mail: font size mainly and mostly reading the incoming mail. Composing is a pain in that the font is so small, I can not read w/o glasses.

3) I have a Gmail account and have set up Mail for that but it shows 2 mailboxes, one for Mail.app plus my Gmail. So every time I get mail, I get it in both in boxes.
