I recently got an Aluminium keyboard for my Powermac G5 (PowerPC) but I'm having problems with the F keys!
The mute & master volume keys don't seem to be working and I can't find anywhere that I can map them (system pref/keyboard doesn't let me set them!).
Also, the play/pause key (F8) doesn't seem to work yet the Previous & Next keys (F7 & F9) do!
Very frustrating!!
Any help would be braw.

Correct, they don't work.
I am running OS Leopard, it should work fine with that, right?

For those who also want the <> and ^° to be at the right place Ukelele is the program of choice.
You have to assign the same key during the remapping e.g. for the ° you have to assign ° again.
But will it work in the vintage OS X 10.5.8 system,
in an older PowerPC Mac; per original issue post?
There are limits to backward compatibility & advice.
