The software isn't needed.

Yes it is. To stream on CNN, it prompts to install and we cannot install. The LIVE stream does not work without it.

To stream standard video it is not required and that works fine. The live feeds do not work.

I just tested (haven't been to CNN in years). I clicked on the "Live" stream of the President and, since I have Flash 11 installed, saw the prompt you are mentioning.

I clicked No and the stream began without issue and without the third party software.

what are you specs? the buttons are unresponsive for me.

Click the "pop up" window (right end of the controller) to get a slightly larger window display.

I've got the TV and CNN playing in Safari. There is about a half second delay in the browser.

No need for the extra software.

I'm in the same boat. Cannot click on the "Yes" or "No" buttons which prevents my Mac from loading the live CNN stream. What is the solution?

Same here. I've been trying everything I can think of or proposed solutions I can find for 40 minutes now.

I give up, but I hate CNN.

What I had to do with the other debates on CNN was wait until the next day and they will be posted in sections on YouTube.

I don't have cable or any broadcast television available to me where I am living so I rely on the internet to get coverage.

I hope this can be resolved before the conventions this summer and the certain debates to follow.
