Have unintentionally deleted Mission Control from the dock. How do you add it back?
Locate the application in your Applications folder and drag it into the Dock.

That is the curious part. I am working on a Macbook Air. I do not see the Mission Control in either the app folder in the dock or in finder. But it has to be there because I can activate it with the three finger swipe. Sorry to be so dense
What if you type mission control in spotlight?
That way you can know where is.
Then you have moved it somehow because it is normally installed in the Applications folder. Try doing a Spotlight search for it.
