Q: MS Office 2004 Word won't display jpg

I have MS Office 2004 for MAC. In Word, I can't get pjg files to appear. The file name appears, but no picture. Even in a newsletter template, I can't replace what's already there. Anyone know the solution? Thanks!

Mac OS X (10.6.8), Pages does the same thing.

Please post yoru question on Microsoft's own forums for their Mac, as this forums is for troubleshooting Apple Software Update for Windows, and not related in any way to MS Office
