iPod artists in weird order

Never had this problem before.

After a full restore on my iPhone 4, I stumbled across this problem:

There are a select few artists, which appear in the wrong alphabetical place. This is causing all sorts of mayhem with artist ordering, as you can see above! Music has been carefully edited using 'more info' in iTunes, and ordering/sorting seems to be fine in iTunes on my mac.

If anyone has a solution, it would be greatly appreciated. This is driving me crazy!
