Aug 2, 2011 7:28 PM in response to 3Dvisionby AppMechanics,★HelpfulI know you can connect the samsung with a VGA to MiniDisplay Port Adapter. But they dont make a ACD to MiniDisplay Port adapter so the only way to do it would be to use the ADC to DVI adapter with a DVI to DVI cable and then a DVI to Mini Display Port Adapter into the Mac Pro.
Hope this helps your decision.

Aug 3, 2011 12:43 AM in response to AppMechanicsby 3Dvision,Thanks for the reply- will using a double adapter setup with the ADC to DVI and then DVI to MiniDisplay be OK in terms of the signal quality?
So I guess the only way to attach 2 of the ADC cinema displays to a mac pro is to have 2 of the DVI to ADC adaptors? It's a shame, looks like the adaptors are impossible to buy now- apple and dr bott don't sell them anymore.
According to the tech specs of the new mac pro, "If you are using more than one Mini DisplayPort to Single-Link DVI adapter, only two displays are supported across the three ports. "
Which means that even if I had 2 ADC adaptors, I couldn't run the Samsung CRT at the same time either...
Unless there's something I've missed, it looks like I'd have to buy 2 new LCD monitors along with the Mac Pro...
