My iPod touch won't receive or send mail
My daughters iPod won't receive or send mail. It keeps saying user name or password for smpt.(email address)@smpt.live.com. Is incorrect.

Thanks I've tried this but now saying "unable to verify account information" ? Any ideas what now please!? Thank you
You probably have an error in one of the entries. Sometimes it is easier to delete the account and reenter everthing rather than try to find and correct the error.
I'm having the same problem, but with gmail. It was all set up and working fine for months, then about an hour ago it started claiming my username or password is wrong, though I haven't changed the settings. I've tried deleting and reentering (even though nothing has changed to make the old entries quit working) but it didn't help. Anyone have a clue?
I suspect a problem with Gmail. I would wait and see if it goes away.
