Any way to add color signature in Preview?

Just while getting the added signatures selected with bordered shown click on the tools color selection rectangle and select you color as shows on the image below:

I discovered how to do this. Having inserted your signature, select it and change the color using the color picker (just to the right of the signature tool).

Thanks for this post; although from 2011, it just solved this problem for me of how to add a blue signature.

I cannot get this to work. Am I doing something wrong when I select the signature?

I also cannot get it to change colors? what am I missing?
