Q: New ATV2 setup: What does error -3906 mean?

New setup. I can see my home network. When I tried to enter the password, I get error -3906, saying I can't connect. I tried disabling security.

I'm connecting to an Airport Extreme set to wireless-N.

Ideas?

Update: I am only able to connect via Ethernet from ATV2 to the Airport Extreme. I think the issue was that I have MAC address filtering enabled. However, due to a different issue I can't turn it off.

Post for a different forum: I can't get the Extreme to reset with new settings. I can see it in Airport Utility, change settings and attempt to reset. The Extreme ususally doesn't reset and when it does, the changes didn't go into effect or it freezes and I have to power cycle it to get it back online.

I had the same problem. I just solutioned it just by disabling MAC Address filtering in my LinkSys router. This is strange as I did enter the address of my ATV3 in the list of allowed devices in the router configuration software.

The truth is that it now works! I just seems that ATV is not compatible with MAC Address filtering.
