iTunes 10.4 Song Equalizer Not Working

I noticed tonight that changing the equalizer setting for an individual song no longer seems to be working in iTunes 10.4 (80) under Lion. I can change the equalizer setting in the Equalizer window but when I make the change in Get Info, Options, Equalizer Preset for a particular song, nothing happens. The volume adjustment works but not the EQ.

Anyone else having this problem? Looks like a bug in the new release.

Do you have the EQ enabled in iTunes?

That did the trick. I didn't realize it had to be set to On in order for individual song settings to be active. My assumption was that selecting a setting in the EQ window would override song preferences. I guess not. It was working prior to the upgrade so I'm guessing that during the upgrade, the EQ was turned off by default.

Thanks for the help.
