So I've noticed I need to replace my battery on my MacBook. It's saying something about service battery. Quick question, why can't I find this specific battery for my model? MacBook MC207LL/A Late 09. I've searched amazon, ebay, searched the Apple store and I can't find the battery compatible with my model MacBook. Any suggestions?

Thats because the battery in the Late '09 Macbook is NOT user replaceable. You need to take it into a Apple store or send it to Apple if you dont have a nearby store.

Ah, I figured this.. I just thought I could buy the battery elsewhere and let Apple install. I'm guessing that's a NO? Thanks though.
