Tracking my iphone

To Whom may concern,

The situation is that I lost my iphone 4 white (32G) in China yesterday, and there is no Mobile Me Application in the phone, but I have the IMEI number of that phone. Therefore, I have an enquiry that whether I can track my phone through the IMEI number.

Unfortunately there's no way to track the phone without Find My iPhone enabled before it's lost.

If there was a police investigation for a major crime, they may have other tools to find it, but nothing that you or I would ever have access to.
