Dashboard not opening FIX

hi everyone, just thought i'd make this discussion to inform people with dashboard problems as to how to fix it. if you click on your dashboard icon or press f4 and the dashboard does not open, the easiest way to fix it is to go to apples website (your already on it) go onto the widgets section, download any widget you want (doesnt matter which) and then once its downloaded it will ask if you want to install it, click yes, and it should force your dashboard to open therefore fixing the glitch that was stopping it from functioning (oh, and you can delete the widget you installed now if you so wish) hope this helps anyone that was as troubled as I was! 😀
