cannot upload song titles to gracenote

I just purchased a classical cd (not in the iTunes store) - the recording and the work played is famous, but nevertheless iTunes didn't get any track information out of the Gracenote database. So I did the input myself. Now I want to upload the info to the Gracenote database in order to help other users. But I can't do so: the upload thing ('send cd track names') in the advanced menu isn't highlighted so I can't give the upload command. What should I do? I am signed in with my iTunes store account, and iTunes works fine, except for this.

I found out the cd should still be in the cd reader - and after having entered the tracknames with the cd still in place, I managed to send the information to the Graceland database 😝

So don't remove your cd before entering the tracknames

Hope this will be of any help to someone else too
