I can't find modem settings for my new Macbook pro. Can someone help?

Never mind ... found a post on this and PROBLEM SOLVED. Do I get "points" for helping myself?????????

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), iPhoto 9.1.5

Press the COMMAND key while selecting and dragging the icon from the menubar.

As for the modem you can replace it with one of several similar modems that will work such as from US Robotics.
