how do i get rid of an app on my iphone?

If they are Apps you have Installed, just Press & Hold them until they Wiggle... Then Press the X and away you go...

Very basic question. You should review this:

Press your finger on any app you want to delete and don't let go. When they are wiggling like jello you will see an X in a circle in the top left corner, touch that and it will delete it. You will also need to remember to delete them or uncheck them on your computer or they will be reinstalled the next time you sync.

You cannot delete any of the system apps like weather, stocks, etc. You can move them into a folder and move the folder to the last page of your home screen.
