Aug 6, 2011 10:08 AM in response to mayte_emeby Allan Eckert,I am sorry to say that shortly after I got my MacBook, itwas shutting down. I brought it back to Apple and they replaced the logic board. Since then I have not had a repeat of that problem.

Aug 6, 2011 10:17 AM in response to Allan Eckertby David Armstrong (SE),In the spring I had the same problem it turned out to be the graphics card, it gave the appearance of being a shutdown and I had to force quit it every time. I had mine fixed free of charge under the Apple re-call.
take a look at this, hopefully this is the case for you:

Aug 6, 2011 10:21 AM in response to mayte_emeby Allan Eckert,I upgraded to Lion after the replacement of my logic board. The logic board was replaced before Lion was available.
The problem on my MacBook started after another upgrade. They told me at the Apple Store that work of doing the upgrade proably stress the weak compenent on board too much.
