Lion Mail Attachments crash Mail

Has anyone experienced this problem? When you "open" attachments with Command-Y and then choose "Show in Preview" Mail crashes. Is there any other way to access attachments in Preview. The fact that this bug wasn't caught in testing doesn't say much for Apple's QC in Lion. Problems like this are huge for users and should never have been released.
