iPhoto book problem

Something has gone wrong with the Photo book that I am creating. It now indicates an odd number of pages (43), which is not possible, and does not include a back cover or inner back page. Also, I now cannot add another page. I have made many photo books before and never had this problem. Can anyone offer any advice?
