MacBook Air 2011 sleep resume issues
It looks like it is a problem with Lion specifically, since 2010 Airs are experiencing this after the update to Lion, but I just bought my 13" 256Gb Air and I am rather disappointed to see it not resume - ever - from a sleep of even just a few seconds, and even crash randomly. I also noticed that if you set a Hot Corner to put to sleep the computer, it also does not resume at all. Screen just goes black as many have seen and basically you must reboot the computer most times - occasionallty it comes back, reluctantly, and asking for passwords. It is quite random and annoying.
I am really considering returning it. It is my first Apple pc and I will say I am rather disappointed. Lion has had issues from day 1 it seems, but this issue with resume is quite ridiculous. The computer came with it and I didn't attach even any devices to it other than the iPad and iPhone. I have yet to try connecting it to my HP monitor, but at this point I am ever afraid of doing that. No drivers should be in the way or anything like that therefore...If anyone has a simple explanation as to why this happens and what the solution may be, please do let everyone know.
Thank you!
MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7), iPhone 3Gs and iPad 2
